I have a positive opinion about your AIC premium service; soon after subscribing, I received a flood of E-mails - most of them inquiries but some of them were for definite projects for which a key person was sought. As a result of your service I have had at least one definite project and I have been contacted by organizations whose existence I did not know about before subscribing to your service.
I should perhaps clarify that I am only looking for occasional short-term projects - which is a market where there are many applicants and few offers. If I had been in the market for long-term projects, then I would already have had several definite assignments via your premium service.
I have recommended it to other consultants.

Very briefly, the service proved very efficient in establishing links with a large numbers of consultancy companies from which I have received requests for registration with their database but also concrete requests for collaboration. I have opened a huge folder to archive all this correspondence and follow up the requests. If you need more precisely outputs I can come back later on to you.
It was an intensive period, which generates an unexpected overload of work for me, but of course the results are fully positive.
I am happy with the service and think it was a good idea. Hope to be same beneficial, from economic point of view, for AIC.

I already got a long-term project in 2004-2005 thanks to AIC Services. So when you introduced this excellent idea I didn't hesitate to take it. And indeed, I didn't regret it. This service is simply excellent and from the emails I received after using it, it seems like your database of companies is quite exhaustive and covers almost every field of expertise.
I received several requests from companies to "complete" my registration with them as well a number of concrete job offers.

I must say that the response has been very positive and by sending the current CV the companies are able to focus on their particular requirements.
On the initial distribution I received several realistic responses and since then there are regular enquiries as to posts and availability.
I find it a much more successful process than the original AIC methodology. It is much more effective and good value for money.

Dear Ingrid,
the AIC Premium Service is highly efficient and an excellent value for money.
Despite the fact that I already had my own large database of companies (several hundreds), I got during the first week 38 concrete proposals from companies I never contacted before (including for USAID and World Bank contracts) but also from companies already known from me, showing that their experts' CV management system is partially deficient. In addition to this, there were the bulk of companies who introduced my CV into their databases. Of course, the number of new companies contacting me decreased after the first weeks, but there are still 2 or 3 assignment proposals every week. The consultancy market is undertaking major changes and it remains difficult for an individual expert to remain fully updated about these changes, therefore the importance of AIC.
Keep on with the very good work.

Well, the most benefits I got after asking AIC to send my CV to all member companies. Almost everyday I receive job offers. It is worth to tell other consultants about this recent experience of mine. It is maybe that AIC put a stamp of quality on my CV.

just to sum up the feedback of the Premium Service: during the last five weeks I received mail from 59 companies, 49 contacted me already during the first 10 days. Most of them were looking for experts, others informed me that they included my CV into their database or requested additional information. Of course, there was overlapping regarding the positions offered, when different consortia bid for the same project, but the overall result was quite impressive.

I think that it is particularly efficient; I was contacted by several consultancy companies and my CV has been proposed for various short term missions. I did not find a mission yet, but it is probably due to the structure of the market: A lot of demand for few offers.

Finally, after one month, I was offered a mission in Africa of exactly the type I was looking for. Dear Ingrid,
the AIC premium service seems to be a good instrument to come in contact with a lot of firms and consultancies about new job possibilities. But a lot of them do not give concrete proposals, only asking in generally for actual CV and other information. Because they are so much, it makes a lot of work for experts. Anyway - it is good!

Here is my feed back on the AIC Premium Service.
Your circulation of my CV to a number of databases has been successful. I replied to all of them. In some cases, they just included my CV in their database, in other cases they wanted a special CV design from me and in some cases they invited me to look for opportunities on their homepage.
I have made priorities of those databases available and have posted a number of applications. So, my scope of assignment opportunities is widened.
At the same time, it looks to me that AIC is by far offering the best service of assignment offers and the most efficient system for handling job applications.
If you want me to tell about special organisations, please tell me.

My comments:
* a lot of consulting firms were confirming reception of my CV;
* Some requests were coming, but one of the problem is that I am not available before April 2007;
* Sometimes the consulting firms make their judgement on a CV not adapted 100% to the profile requested in the TORs.
I think it is a good investment, I do not regret it.
